MOP means Macao Patacas, which is the currency of Macao, with MO stands for Macao and P stands for Patacas. Does it mean that this work has the value of Two Thousand Twelve Patacas and Twenty cents? No, the P here stands for Poland. This represents the collaboration work of Macao and Poland. In stage I, we made two work in progress presentation in Macau and Poland.
Synopsis
The city changes too fast, its pace of living is too rapid, and the irregular living re-molds new pattern of the city. Facing the instantly changing condition, people of this small city are excited, yet they keep recalling the disappearing images from the past. People and things in memory are like slipping away from fingertips … the gentle touch among people is replaced by deepening conflicts and contradictions. The values passed down from long time ago are crashed and eroded. Nevertheless, the small city has not given up her unique quality, and still keeps her intrinsic quality of exclusive beauty, telling others her value amidst the new era. People of the small city, though once lost, staggered and drifted in the disorientation of their existence value, but with the inherent quality of persistency, they can find one way out then another. Young people walk out their future with their own feet. Even in the mist, they can still find their own way and direction with ease and confidence.
